Halloween Makeup: Black Cat and Mermaid

What are you gonna be for Halloween? I’m probably gonna be a cat as usual, but this time I think I’ll put more effort into the makeup.  I already tried it out and I recorded the process on my YouTube channel.

This look was pretty easy, I think it would look better if I had a better liquid liner to use. And since I was recording, it was a little difficult to get the right angle where you could see what I was doing and for me to actually do it.

I also tried out a mermaid makeup. I was originally going to use a fishnet to create the scales, but I found this cool Wet n Wild Mermaid Kit at Target that included paint and stick on stencils with scales and some other fun shapes too. I also got my crappy, shiny blonde wig at Target. It was only $10 so it was expected.

Another easy look, but unlike the cat makeup, this wasn’t a quick look. It would be faster without recording and going in with a plan. All I knew is that I wanted to use the purple paint and Sugarpill Lumi Pigment to make scales in a triangle shape on my forehead and some on my cheeks. I mostly just winged this look. Chelsea helped to give me some ideas especially the pop of pink. I knew I needed something besides the purple paint and the lumi, but I didn’t know what. I really like how this look turned out. What do you think?
